UP Festival is a 72 hours around the clock experience of contemporary electronic music steeped in visual arts and inspiration. Taking place in mid-May, in the heart of Europe, the Prague-based festival just revealed its complete line-up spread across the 3 outdoor stages and 1 indoor pavilion. Not less than 54 acts are confirmed.
Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, Magda, Praslesh, Barac, Ion Ludwig, Apollonia, Bella Saris, Janeret and Varhat are just a few that have joined the bill for the Czech event. The 3 days affair is not just about music, also showcasing art exhibition and lighting installations, all displayed at the fairgrounds of Prague Exhibition Center during the festival.
“It has been one of the main focus of this project to be the middle ground where music and other forms of art come together, with it we will showcase not only the music talent present in the city but also the sculpturists, designers, visual artists that embody the Czech spirit.”
The promoters already announced 4 showcases leading to the main event, in cities such as Rome, Mallorca, Warsaw and Moscow.
“UP Festival is a place where every musician can strip out of their fears and experiment, showcase, introduce their true artistic being and a place where our audience can get lost in light and sound.”
